My hair journey began 15 years ago at M Salon Spa, where I first discovered my passion through amazing mentorship, which shaped my whole career. After a thriving start, motherhood called, and I took a transformative break to welcome my son, Kai. Balancing professional aspirations with motherhood led me to establish a home-based salon, blending my love for hairstyling with family life.

From its humble beginnings in my first home, my salon space has now grown into a bustling downtown location, where I lead a talented team dedicated to beauty and customer care. I'm grateful for the support of clients, friends, and family who've championed my journey. Each day, I aim to bring joy and confidence to clients while continuing to cherish each moment I can with my son.

This path has taught me resilience, determination, and the importance of following my heart's journey. I'm excited for the future of Hair Love by Sigourny, and our team’s persistent commitment to creating a space of beauty, comfort, and love.

Curly Hair Specialist

Chantel has been a dedicated hairstylist since 2006, bringing a wealth of experience from her many years in Toronto. She honed her skills at the Curly Hair Institute for 13 years, becoming a true master of curly hair. Afterward, she expanded her expertise at Studio 67 and even spent a year at Garrison’s Barber Shop to refine her men’s cutting techniques.

In 2022, Chantel joined Hair Love by Sigourny, where she specializes not only in curly hair but also in perfecting blondes, color, and adding flawless weft hair extensions.

As a curly girl herself, Chantel knows the importance of a proper curly cut. She’s here to make your hair dreams come true!

Salon Manager

Ellen is the wonderful soul who keeps everything running smoothly at Hair Love by Sigourny.

Originally from Sweden, she moved to Canada in 2022. At first, she worked remotely for a large corporate company but found it challenging to connect with people in Burlington. Wanting to be more involved in the community, she started looking for new opportunities. That’s when she met Sigourny at the gym, and the very next day, she joined our team!

Extension Specialist

With 19 years of experience, Laci brings her passion for blonding services and hair extensions to downtown Burlington. Joining Hair Love in September 2024, she is known for creating flawless, personalized color, from sun-kissed balayage to icy platinum blondes. As a certified hair extension expert, Laci offers seamless, natural-looking extensions using tape-in, weft, and fusion methods.

Laci is dedicated to providing a high-quality, personalized hair experience, helping each client achieve their dream hair, whether it’s the perfect blonde or added length and volume.
